Connecting with partners and retailers at the Do it Best & True Value Spring Market
The Asthma & Allergy Friendly® Certification Program was delighted to be represented at the recent Do it Best & True Value Spring Market, where industry leaders gathered under the theme “Better for Your Business.”
Leah McInerney, Client Success Manager with the Certification Program, was on the ground at the event connecting with retailers, manufacturers, and long-standing partners across the home improvement sector.
The market provided a great opportunity to catch up with several Certified partners who were exhibiting, including Benjamin Moore, True Value, Mohawk Flooring, and 3M Filtrete. These companies continue to demonstrate how independently tested products can support indoor environments while also giving retailers credible ways to respond to growing consumer demand for healthier homes.

A particular highlight was seeing True Value’s EasyCare® paint, which is Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly®, featured at the show. The product has been part of True Value’s commitment to offering trusted options for homeowners looking to improve the spaces where they live and work.
It was also a pleasure to reconnect with members of the True Value team, including John Vanderpool and Rich White, who have long supported the role of science-based certification in helping retailers build trust with their customers.
During the market, Leah also delivered a session focused on creating a healthier home and how certification helps retailers build customer confidence. Her talk highlighted what makes the Asthma & Allergy Friendly® Certification Program unique: the combination of rigorous product testing conducted by Allergy Standards Ltd together with the patient advocacy leadership of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA).
Together, this partnership ensures that products carrying the Asthma & Allergy Friendly® mark have been independently tested against defined scientific standards.
