Allergy Standards Ltd is currently testing and in the process of certifying paint and surface coatings as asthma & allergy friendly^TM.

Certified paint will be available later in the year.

If you have to purchase any paints or surface coating products before this, please adhere to these principles, which we use for the certification process:

• Avoid low-cost paints which may be major source of toxic substances in the environment, some of which are persistent organic pollutants.

• Any off-gassing should be kept to a minimum. 

• Select paints that have been thoroughly tested by an independent laboratory or that have a third party Certification Mark.
