Satelite Media Tour Educates Millions of People

On May 18th Dr. Beth Corn, an allergist from Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York and Mike Tringale from AAFA, took to the airwaves to spread the message of indoor allergen reduction and environmental control. The satellite media tour, co-sponsored by the Certification Program, Idylis Air Purifiers and Dyson vacuums, was part of AAFA's National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month in May. Media outlets from across the country including television, radio and internet, had the chance to interview the duo regarding the causes of poor indoor air quality and simple steps that consumers can take as part of an overall allergen reduction plan in the home. Dr. Corn and Mike highlighted the importance of looking for allergen control products that have been independently tested and proven to be more suitable for people with allergic sensitivities. Certified asthma & allergy friendly TM products, such as air cleaners and vacuums have all been shown to meet the standards adopted by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

To date the interviews have reached over 171 different cities with a total audience of over 1.8 million people. To view an example of one of the segments, please CLICK HERE
