Healthy Tips for your Bed & Bedroom

  • Having asthma, allergies or chemical sensitivity does not mean having to compromise on comfort.

  • Try to avoid allergen barrier encasing for mattresses, pillows or duvets made of hot, noisy fabrics, with plastic membranes, or with poor vapor permissibility (‘breath ability’)

  • Wherever possible, choose fabrics that are unbleached, undyed and free of chemical irritants.

  • Choose products that can be washed frequently at high temperatures in order to keep allergen levels low.

  • Select products that have been thoroughly tested by an independent laboratory or that has a third party Certification Mark, so that you can 'Sleep with Confidence™'.

Remember, especially in the bedroom, to use more than one method for avoiding allergens for added benefit.

All around the home and bedroom, look for the asthma & allergy friendlyTM Certification Mark to help you cope with your asthma and to get on with your life.
